Sydney Lee (she/her) is a 2D and 3D animator as well as an illustrator who utilizes graphite within her pieces. She centers her work on sharing narratives inspired by her own life experiences. With the intersectionality of embodying femininity, being a black woman, and nurturing her mental health. She sets it as a mission to provide comfort, representation, and relatability for those who are in the same communities.
Introspection (Previously known as “Memory Book by Sydney Lee”) was exhibited at the Juried Visual Art and Design Showcase 2026 at Columbia Art League in Columbia, Missouri, as well as Black Alchemy, hosted by Matchbook Marketing and Mizzou Black Creatives. Lee was also commissioned by the University of Missouri to create two augmented reality 3D models at Art After Hours, a self-guided art walk for the community of Columbia, Missouri, to explore the arts within Mizzou.
